Milwaukee Engagement Session – Lion’s Den Gorge – Jared & Emmy

This was my first time visiting Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve so I arrived early to scout out locations for Jared and Emmy’s session with my husband Sam and 1 month old baby in tagging along. Emmy had been very kind about working with my due date when scheduling their engagement session and was sure to let me know baby Rosemary was welcome. It was a perfect spring evening, with a cool breeze coming off of the lake, GORGEOUS blue-green water, and so many beautiful pinky purple flowers in bloom.

I met Emmy and Jared for the first time when I took their engagement photos but felt like Emmy could just be an old friend. We have a lot of mutual friends so she found me through word of mouth, and I’m so glad she did! Jared and Emmy are a really sweet, joyful, and Christ-centered couple. Emmy said they had known each other for years but recently reconnected at a family bible conference and started their relationship shortly after. Jared and Emmy had been long distance all of their relationship until their wedding this past August.
