Winneconne Engagement Session – Matt & Bailey
I met Matt and Bailey last summer as they were friends with two of my couples and at both of their weddings. One of my brides introduced us and was telling them what an amazing job I did with her wedding. I remember photographing them dancing together and thinking what a fun couple they were and how fun it would be to shoot their wedding someday. Fast forward almost a year, I was so excited for them when I saw they got engaged in May and even more excited when Bailey reached out to me for some information on my wedding photography services. There are only a few things that make my heart happier more than when my clients say, “We reached out to another photographer, but our heart wasn’t really in it, I knew we needed to have you!”
Matt and Bailey have been long distance their entire relationship. They got to know each other when they helped start a political environmental organization while they were both in college. Then, they officially met in person for the first time at a conference a few months before the launch of that organization. They became friends and later stared dating. This May Matt and Bailey spent a fun day driving around the White Mountains in New Hampshire and were going to end the day with dinner on the lake. Before dinner they took a walk in a beautiful lakeside garden and Matt proposed to Bailey and she said “YES!”
Matt and Bailey are tying the knot next summer in Madison and I can’t wait to be their to capture their special day! You guys are perfect together and I love seeing how God is at the center of your lives and relationship. You two are going to make power couple!
P.S. A big thanks to these two for being especially patience with a glitch along the way with their engagement session as I had to run out to grab an extra piece of gear. I think their patience paid off. They said they had a hard time taking good pictures together but I think they looked like totally naturals and are just the sweetest together.
