Neenah Engagement Session – Timshel Cafe and Doty Park – Isaiah & Bobbi
Today marks one year since I had the privilege of taking Bobbi & Isaiah’s engagement photos! Bobbi and I met during my freshman year at UW Oshkosh where she was already a sophomore and very involved in the campus ministry that some good friends of mine led. We were introduced during one of the first campus events during welcome week and Bobbi took me under her wing, introducing me to other girls who were involved in the campus ministry, and eventually gathering a group to catch lunch and dessert. Bobbi was also one of my small group leaders in that campus ministry and would go out of her way to put fun touches on everything she did and has a gift for making people feel valued.
I had met Isaiah through a homeschool play and gotten to know his family a little so when Bobbi & Isaiah started dating, and later got engaged, I was so excited for them! Bobbi and Isaiah are both incredibly kind, serving, and pretty easy going, and make such a great couple. I so honored when Bobbi asked to be their wedding photographer. For their engagement photos we started at Timshel Cafe for some cozy indoors photos with hot cocoa, and then they braved some chilly temps for some portraits at Doty Park nearby. Even though it was a pretty chilly March day these two were still cheerful the whole time. They were such a joy to photograph and I can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding in a future blog post as well.
