Best of 2018 Weddings & Couples

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m so excited to launch my website and I thought I would kick off this blog with some of my favorite photos from 2018! I’ve always loved photography, but this year was the year I decided to own the title of photographer. My husband Sam has been my biggest supporter and knows how much I love being a photographer so he really encouraged me to move forward in my business. Anyone who has started their own business knows just how much work is involved but I have had the best support in Sam, and the best couples to work with. 2018 involved a lot of commuting for me as most of my photography business was back in the Fox Valley and Sam and I were still going to school down in Davenport, IA, but it was so worth it!  The following are some of my favorite couple and wedding photos, but to be honest it was hard to choose! I will be sharing more maternity and family photos in blog posts to come. I’m so excited for the year ahead but 2018 was pretty special.
